Our African Grand Tour was fabulous, and only made more so by the research we did and help we got along the way. Some of our fave travel agents, books, movies & podcasts are included below.

YOU SAW WHERE INDIAN OCEAN AND ATLANTIC OCEAN MET! WELL, I'M WONDERING WHETHER YOU SAW WHERE ATLANTIC OCEAN MET WITH THE LAGOS LAGOON WHEN YOU WERE IN NIGERIA. MY REASON? WHEN I WAS GROWING UP IN THE SMALL TOWN OF IKIRUN SIXTY, SEVENTY YEARS AGO, THE FABLE WAS THAT THE LAGOON WAS A FEARSOME ENEMY OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN AND THAT IF YOU PUT WATERS FROM BOTH IN THE SAME BOTTLE, IT WOULD VIOLENTLY SCATTER (TO YOUR DETRIMENT). THERE YOU HAVE IT! NEXT TIME YOU ARE IN LAGOS, CHECK IT OUT. SEVENTY SIX YEARS OLD, I STILL BELIEVE IN FABLES O!
